About Dr. Gilda
Business & Relationship Solutions
GILDA CARLE (Ph.D.) is the only Business & Relationship Strategist who coaches Boardroom to Bedroom issues from Wall Street to Main Street.
The New York Times called DR. GILDA “the busiest television therapist in the business.” Gannett named her “TV’s #1 talk-show therapist, hotter than the Sahara, part philosopher and part stand-up comic.” She conducts business & relationship coaching online.
Professor Emerita from New York’s business school at Mercy University, and now MBA professor at Forbes School of Business & Technology at UAGC, she advises international corporations on the “soft” skills that boost their bottom line. She delivered Relationship Wellness keynotes to the medical community, including New Jersey State Department of Health, New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation, and Columbia University Medical Center.
DR. GILDA is seen, heard, read, and clicked on worldwide by over 5 million people weekly. Her 19th book is “Real Men Don’t Go Woke,” which addresses men’s emotional and physical health. She also wrote the required college text, “Don’t Bet on the Prince!” (test question on “JEOPARDY!”), which made news with Dr. Gilda’s million-dollar book advance. “Don’t Lie on Your Back for a Guy Who Doesn’t Have Yours,” featured on the National Enquirer’s Health Page, tackles young women’s relationship issues. “How to WIN when Your Mate Cheats” was a literary award winner from the London Book Festival. Her business books, “One Up Strategies Business Schools Don’t Teach” and “Amplify Your Media Presence, Amplify Your Brand,” provide executives with the secret edge over the competition.
Her renowned GILDA-GRAMs in her books, columns, media appearances, and keynote speeches are inspirational messages to remember and refer. For example, “You will never be loved if you can’t risk being disliked;” “What you accept, you teach;” “We attract not who we want, but who we are.” She includes 365 GILDA-GRAMs, one for each day of the week, in her “My Rants & Ramblings Journal.” Readers describe tear-stained pages as they pour their innermost feelings onto each daily message.

Education & Early Beginnings
A licensed educator, GILDA CARLE holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from New York University, with a concentration in psychology, sociology, and social psychology. Her doctoral research explored self-esteem, role expectations, interpersonal communications, and relationships, and she became certified by New York State as a teacher, principal, and school superintendent. With her strong background in how leaders commit to goals, corporations began seeking her expertise to train and deliver leadership programs.
As a youngster, she danced on TV. As a young adult, she taught and administered educational programs in New York’s toughest South Bronx public schools. While she taught her students language skills, they taught her street smarts. She applied these South Bronx street smarts to her work with executives and their staffs, celebrities, politicians, and CEOs in some of the largest international corporations. Unlike any other corporate expert, DR. GILDA integrates her business expertise with her mass-market, pop culture appeal.
In the Movies
In documentary film, she was the family therapist in HBO’s Emmy Award winner, “Telling Nicholas.” The movie depicted DR. GILDA guiding a grieving family to tell their 7-year-old that his mother died in the World Trade Center attack. In addition to winning an Emmy, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Academy Awards) named the film one of the 12 most outstanding documentaries of 2002, and segments of the movie aired on Oprah.
The “Country Music Doctor”
Dubbed the “Country Music Doctor,” DR. GILDA solves business and relationship issues with Country Music. This unique technique was so successful in the for-profit sector that she created a nonprofit 501(c)(3) educational charity, Country Cures, to train Homeless Female Veterans. She guided them to raise their self-esteem, leave the streets, and find solid jobs and careers.
