Belichick’s marriage of 29 years dissolved after an affair. He had another long-term relationship for 16 years and made his girlfriend president of his foundation. While their relationship was ending, the 73-year-old paired up with former cheerleader, 24-year-old Jordon Hudson. Men tend to substitute another partner sooner than women.
As he did in the past, Belichick allowed Hudson a key role in his career. But without solid experience and lots of moxie, she has become a “distraction.” Now the once-powerful role model sportsman is enduring ridicule as a “wuss.” It’s difficult for once-successful males to concede to the inevitability of time. As a remedy, some strong leaders by day seek dominatrixes by night to put someone else in charge. As Belichick did, they mistakenly believe this move will alleviate their pressure.
