BREAKING UP IS HARDER FOR MEN THAN FOR WOMEN

A study that analyzed more than 50 scientific studies on gender differences in heterosexual relationships was published in Behavioral and Brain Sciences. It found that guys are more likely than women to experience deep loneliness after a breakup.

These results could explain why 70 percent of divorces are initiated by women.

Steady relationships are psychologically more fulfilling for men than for women, as married men age more slowly than single men.

If a relationship is going south, men might prefer to hide their feelings, cheat, or find other outlets instead of confronting and possibly destroying the relationship they have. “Real Men Don’t Go Woke” enumerates 10 Ways Heterosexual Men Hide from Intimacy. Each one is detrimental to a man’s mental health and to the sustainability of his relationship.
